  • WESTERN RIVERS TO INLAND OR INLAND TO WESTERN RIVERS ROUTES FOR TOWING VESSELS
    "Western Rivers" means the Mississippi River, its tributaries, South Pass, and Southwest Pass, to the navigational demarcation lines dividing the high seas from harbors, rivers and other inland waters of the United States, and the Port Allen-Morgan City Alternate Route, and that part of the Atchafalaya River above its junction with the Port Allen-Morgan City Alternate Route including the Old River and the Red River.
     
  • INLAND TO WESTERN RIVERS ROUTES
    If a mariner holds an Inland or Near Coastal Towing license and needs to operate a towing vessel on the Western Rivers, Sea School offers a one day U.S. Coast Guard approved course for towing licenses to add this route to a license.

    Sea Service required for this route is 90 days on Western Rivers

  • WESTERN RIVERS TO INLAND
    For mariners with a Western River route on a Towing license that need to operate on other inland waters, Sea School offers a two day U.S. Coast Guard approved course for towing licenses to add this route to his or her license.
